I like this small rose bowl because of its uncommon colour. It is blue glass with a very glossy, clear outer casing. It has grooves around each of its eight lobes, seen in pictures two and three.
Picture four shows it beside a rose bowl of the same shape in the Kralik décor known as Mother of Pearl(quilted).I enjoy finding the same shape in décors from different periods.
Height 10 cm./4 inches Diameter 10cm./4 inches
Thank you, rucklczglass, Elisabethan, nutsabotas and Moondtonelover for the loves.
Loveeeeeeeee - the Color !!
Clearly you need more colours of this lovely shape. I will keep my eye out lol!
Lovely and in excellent condition!
Hi Lisa, Are you telling me that this shape comes in spatter?
antiquerose, same here and it's a first for me in Kralik rose bowls.
Clearly Karen, and as you have such a good eye I expect it won't be long before the Aussie Postal Service starts sponsoring you :-)
Thank you Ivonne, and I'm ridiculously pleased with it!
Hi Lisa, I think they are the same body shape too....right down to the grooves around the lobes. Both are the same height but wider than mine....not unusual for Kralik to take a shape and remake it, changing the width alone or the height alone.
I simply hadn't remembered these and thought you meant spatter on a black ground.....sorry!

What an amazing color, wow! I can imagine the roses in this would make both a standout, vase and flowers. :)
Thank you smiata, for the love, and Katherine for the love and the lovely comment.
Absolutely gorgeous, Peggy, nice add to your awesome collections.
