925 silver. It bears the same mysterious mark (see pic 4) as my lezards group brooches and the first monkeys brooch I posted.
4.4 centimeters wide and 14 grams weight.

That looks like a pretty hefty piece of jewelry. How large is it? I've never seen a mark like that - one second it looks kind of like a torch and the next second it kind of looks like an angry duck....lol~!

Hi Efe! Thanks for stopping :-)
      It is 4,4 centimeters wide.
Lol for the angry duck, it does look alike :-D
I thought an urn or amphora or etruscan vase, even an anatomical heart...
I encountered it many times, but no luck for results...

Oh it's so pretty kyra! That mark looks like the torch they carry at the Olympics! I don't know. I was also reading up on brooches and their clasps to learn more about age but this looks different than any I saw.

Wonderful brooch! Don't know about the mark. Will search and if I find something I'll get back to you. But I'm not hopeful, because you're a master at searching I've noticed. If you can't find it who can....

Elizabethan, I'm sure you can help by searching in your own language!
I found french doc which I couldn't get result in english :-)
      Thank you!
Thank you too dear Manikin for your love of flutterbies ;-))

Beautiful flutterby, kyratango! This jeweler specializes in bugs, I guess? I think the mark looks like a torch, same as share, but agree with Elisabethan, fat chance any of us will find it if you can't, lol. Nevertheless, I did take a look around and couldn't find anything, sorry. I wonder if there's such a thing as a 925 archive?

Thank you for your suggestions :-)
925-1000.com has HUGE amount of contributions on the forums, I had not examined totality, lol! Was not able too to register and ask :-/
Rose, I'll have a try to contact Jewelscollectingdust, we'll see!
Robin Deutsch had this problem with the KP mark for Knoll & Pregizer...
Finally she found an advertizement and identify the mark!
see there for the story of The Robin Deutsch Collection:

I think I've seen that "font" on Middle Eastern silver (I'm not familiar with the amphora mark); I'd suggest looking into Egypt and Turkey first, then possibly India.

Davyd, thank you, but found nothing...
