I bought this at a yard sale. From a older lady who said it was in her grandmothers house ever since she could remember. So thats what promoted be to buy it for $5.00 I have had it for about 14 years now and have always admired it and would like to find out more about it if I can.
Purchased in China at a gift shop in the early 50s...thats all I know
