    Love cast iron...Found this nice piece. Woman told me it was in the house her sister had bought that had the same real full size stove in it. Cute piece. Curious of its age. Does have Made In USA in two spots on the back.

      My mother purchased a Pot Bellied Stove lamp with a burlap shade and the exact matching (sort of) Kitchen Stove shown here, also with a Burlap shade. The approximate date was the early-mid 1960's. If you look at the tube at the back of the stove (it's not fully shown here) there was an extension that held the stem and the electrical harp & socket and shade-holder. RER

      I believe what your mom purchased was the stoves that were eventually made into lamps. I've seen a few transitioned into lamps.
