Hi there: My dad has this scale and he was looking for more information regarding it. We cannot find much information beyond made in Turkey? Does anyone know the approximate age of this item, potential worth or where I can find out more on this scale? Thank you in advance.

Hi Cub and Ricki, I have just bought one of these myself in Australia and would also love to find out more about it. I've tried searching online (how I found your post) and so far I've only seen one other which was for sale on ebay USA for $1300 buy it now price. The seller says he bought it in Turkey many years ago and these scales were originally used for trading salt. Unfortunately he didn't say what era its from. Mine is exactly the same but missing some of the parts. Hope someone out there knows more. Thanks, Shane.
It looks like they may still be available. The company was founded in 1932.
