Been out of commission for a bit (nothing serious) but I wanted to share something I've had for a while.
This was a gift from a friend who was in Dubai about 10 years ago or so. It contains perfume. The bottle is 4" tall and 1-1/2" wide. The closed box is 5-1/2"tall and 4" wide at the base. Funny I have had this so long and never researched it. Just confirms I have always loved glass.

I'm not sure how good or bad this smells but maybe one day I'll put some on and go hunting for something other than glass. LOL JK :)

I really am out of my element here because I don't even know what kind of wood that is. Looks like cherry wood if I had to throw something out there.

...I do not know much about wood, but the wood reminds me of those BURL WOOD CLOCKS.....if ya know what I mean.

...and here is a Different kind of Clock made of BURLWOOD too. Sure looks like the same type of wood as yours!! As I imagine they have different amounts of grains in them.....I thik....LOL

Geez rose, I have never heard of burl wood but when I google it ..kind of looks like it. Funny I was displaying the glass and you and ruckl turned my attention to the wood. Youz guys are amazing. ;)
