This is for Katherine who has been a great convert to Japanese glass, if only she could find some!
A delicious blue and clear cased vase with additional gold foil that gives it a tropical sea look.
Does the bend in it worry me?
No....it is such a Japanese thing to accept these hot formed items with all of the marks of man. We all know the Japanese can make perfection when they want: hand made glass seems to me to be one area they are happy with Wabi Sabi.

And this new piece of Sanyu glass! Reminds me that I went back for the vase but apparently too late, as it was nowhere to be seen. But I will keep looking, and the day I score, will share with you first, my friend. :)
