I have a little collection of matchbox covers and this is my favorite because of the humorous saying on the back . Having once been a store owner myself I could relate to it .

I love this - it's sorta local for me - I know West Parade well.

I had an auntie who lived (and sied ) at West Ryde when she first went there it was out in the styx / country . I loved going to her place big block with giant Mulberry tree and Chooks ( Chickens ) out out side Laundry witha mangle ... shame she was such a tough old bird and such a bad cook ! :) ha ha ha ...

Hope the chickens weren't mangled - just the cooking....
