I love the style of this chair but know nothing about it. I'd like reupholster it but wondered if it had any value before I decided to try it on my own as a project or send it to a professional?
I have no idea what type of wood it is or its era. Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you.

A nice chair that many companies made during the 20th century and into the 1980's when traditional or antique type chairs were made by so many companies who left almost no info about their facilities, trade, etc. This looks to be one from the 1950's and/or 1960's.

I'm so happy to get some feedback!
Thank you bladerunner22 I appreciate you chiming in.
Sounds like it'll be okay for me to strip and try my hand at reupholstery.
Some of the joints are pretty loose and seat cushion is deteriorating. I'm excited to try to bring it back to life, or try to.
