This was a gift and I am wondering if this is old or newer. It's super heavy in weight. I believe the shades are newer. The wiring looks older. Maybe. This is about 20" and crossing my fingers. Thanks for looking.

Hi, I did a google image search on "brass lily pad lamp". I found the one I have which ---- just sold as an Art Noveau piece. I bought it a couple of years ago from a department store. Anyway, there are so many it's very difficult to weed out the goodies from the baddies. There are some things which say old to me: your 'lily pad' doesn't have the newer rounded leaves, and it, and the stems) is also much darker. The stems of the lilies are twisted. Newer lamps you just have to push the shades up and under the triangular grips. (Hope I'm making sense.) Yours has screws to attach the shades to the top of the stalks. Heavy is good, isn't it? I can't tell about your wiring, it doesn't have a cord does it, which would make it older? I hope there's a little help in there.
p.s. the shades look older to me.
