The is a date penciled in on the back of 12-12-24 although I don't know if it means anything. the printed name on the back is ?UKE and the number may be 910 or 710. I have looked at many pictures but not found this clock. I would like information about the clock and what it's value is.
Can anyone help me?
John
You have a Sessions "Duke", Black Enamelled Wood Mantel Clock from circa 1908.
Although the side ornaments did vary on this model, here's an example which is very similar to yours: https://ehive.com/account/4907/object/507199. You should be able to find examples, keywords 'Sessions Duke' online which have sold at auction. Hope that helps to solve your Mystery. If so, please indicate "Mystery Solved" in your listing. If you have any more questions, please fire away. Someone here can probably help you further. Welcome to the C.W. John Alexander and thank you for sharing your heirloom with us.
Thank you for your help on ID for my clock. This clock mystery is solved.
Glad to help Alexander. There is a check box in your listing that will indicate your mystery is solved. I try to "collect" solved mysteries when I can. :) Thanks.
Thanks for the help Bruce. I have yet to find out a value on the clock but that will come in time.

You're very welcome John. Here's one example which sold for about $80 at auction (Buyer's Premium included) in 2011: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/9296121_a-sessions-duke-mantel-clock
That would probably be about the maximum you could get in today's market.
Here's an eBay "Sold" search on Sessions Black Mantel Clocks to give you some idea of current values: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=17331&_dmd=1&_ipg=200&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=Sessions+Black+Mantel+Clock&_sop=3
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Bruce
