Won these 2 chairs at the auction today..I paid $5 each
IMy plan was to re upholster and paint, but I decided I should have them checked out first...Such beautiful and unique style chairs. There are no markings on the chairs & the fabric is a yellow velvet look fabric. Some of the wood has a twist shape to it.

A regular hexagon has 6 sides

Half hexagon would be more correct, octagon is eight sides.

My grandmother gave me this chair. It's all original fabric and everything. I too cannot find any markings. I was hoping someone had some info on the maker. The age. And the value. I really love this chair and the sentimental value is beyond priceless. Just wish I knew more about this lovely peice

so I found these exact 2 chairs today by the side of the road in good condition need some TLC and they have red fabric and the tie downs are gold with gold tassels but here the best part THERE IS A TAG I have not been able to locate any information from the tag on line yet and I will post a pic of the tag soon but this is what it says
"9656 Item Identification Concept Furn. Corp. Kings Mtn, N.C. Ord. No:5328 Item S503..32 Fabric 4806-44" The item number is OF COURSE the only thing that is faded to the point that it is very hard to see and read but I did my best and will get a magnafine glass soon to see if I can see it better for now the item number above is my best interruption
Probably going to paint black and recover in tiffany blue fabric - i believe the scrolled twisted legs are plastic composite of some sort and not real wood but the other connecting horizontal pieces are real wood - IDK i just picked them up and need to dig a little deeper - if anyone can provide any insight into the tag info that would be great!!!!!!!!! I will post pics as soon as possible - stay tuned

I just picked up one of these chairs and can’t find anything out! I know this thread is old, but did you guys ever find any information? Mine is mustard yellow with golden tassels. It does have a sticker... lot no. WN001 053.
Yes! This is the most comfortable chair I’ve sat in. Between that and the unique appearance I just had to have it!

      Thanks!
