I'd like to wish everyone on CW a happy Back to the Future day! On November 22, 1989 the much anticipated second movie in the Back to the Future trilogy began showing in theatres. In this one Marty travels forward in time to October 21, 2015 - TODAY!
Thirty years ago we were all marveling at Robert Zemeckis' and Steven Spielberg's vision of the future and dreaming of that day we'd own our own hover board; even though most of us would likely be too old now to actually ride one! It turns out that 2015 is quite a bit different than the movie version, although hover boards are slowly becoming reality... sort of.
I was fortunate enough to have advance preview tickets to all of the Back to the Future movies in 1985, 1989, and 1990, and also received official promotional posters for all three. Here's the mini poster for Back to the Future II (measuring 13.5" x 21") as well as a school binder cover (measuring 13" x 21").
The exact time Marty arrives today is at 4:29pm (North American Pacific Time) so look towards California and you may see a flash in the sky. If you're lucky enough to live near Hill Valley be on the lookout for a strange-looking flying DeLorean. Great Scott!

Is one of my favourite movies as well Virginia; I think I'm going to binge on 5 hours of Back to the Future and watch all three movies tonight in celebration of this day!
All three films are showing tonight on TV here, just finished watching number 2. Ok some of the future items were waaaay off, but they got a few spot on. 3D shark, who woulda thought!
