NavyRays
(1 item)
I'm really hoping someone here can help me, or at least point me in the right direction. These lamps measure 8.5" tall, plus 4" for the "candle"/socket. They are cast metal, and rather heavy at 3lbs/pc. I can't find any markings. The finish is original, with untouched patina. The encrusted jewels are faux - cast and painted, as is the gold finish.
Any info on a possible maker would be great. I'd also like to know what type of shade they would have had, if any. There seems to be no evidence of any sort of harps.
Given the wiring, switch, and socket, they must be from the early 20th century, and the details like the pull chain traveling through a hole in casting makes me believe they are of decent quality.
I have spent hours researching, with little luck. The finial on the pull chain seems to match of those used by Handel.
Thank you in advance.
