Digging through my mother's jewerly and found her favorite necklace. She wore this all the time. I think because there is no clasp and it was easy for her to just throw it on.
Very long
I can't find any marks with the naked eye.
Reminds me of mourning necklace
I'm sure Agram or Moonstone lover could verify that.
Need to have this tested for ct.
But for now it will go back into hiding.
I will cherish this forever.
Special ~ and PRICELESS ~ it was Your Mom's.
It is a Real Treasure !!
Thank you antiquerose
Really pretty
Thank you Joy
how stunning
my mothers jewellery was stolen in two house burglaries in the 1970s.
She died when I was 7 in 1968. We lost her gorgeous saphire and diamond ring which was a beautiful war purchase denoting how much my father adored her!
You're very lucky to have :)
Cheers
Anne
Would you tell me please what ct is?
The necklace is beautiful. Must it go back into hiding? Can it be looped once and still fit? One more question - do you have sisters? Thanks for you patience.
Gillian should have been "kt"
I have 4 sister's living.
When my mother died I went through her jewelry and gave my sister's all the jewelry they had given her for birthday's & holiday's.
Can't be looped and still fit...I wish it could.
Anne
Thank you
I'm so sorry about your mother's jewelry being stolen...very sad :(
I guess that's why I keep her pieces in hiding.....not about the value of her items but the sentimental value. I even treasure her costume jewelry ;)
