I have a bracelet with Buddhist swastika's ,it was handed down to me from my father. It is very light in weight and solid burgundy when there is no light passing and the image is with light passing through. I want to get a better idea if this is genuine i was told it was very old and there are also natural inclusions that i have noticed but can anyone give me more information on this particular type of amber? I have a fascination with gemology ,jewelry, and history ,please enlighten me =D

By posting only 1 pix with light behind it eliminates any chance of ID. More pix showing the real thing instead of enhanced.

Are the beads threaded onto elastic? The best thing to do is to take it to an expert and let him/her examine it. It's quite difficult to say whether it's real or not by looking at photos.
