Bought this rocker for $5.00 from an antique store locally. They acquired it in an estate sale. Has a bit of damage from falling off the truck during transport. It's very comfortable to sit in. The shape of the back and lumbar support is excellent. The seat is coil springs. The wood is walnut. Has been poorly reupholstered and wood filled to conceal cracks and painted brown.
History: This is the same type of rocking chair that President Lincoln was assassinated in. It will be cared for and kept as a family treasure.
