This clock is really heavy.
Some of the items move when touched they are kind of fixed on with a kind of screw!
Seems to chime a lot!
Dimensions are
It is approx 40cms x 50cms x 16cms.

Would love to know about this clock, have found out the actual clock is French but as for the rest, have no idea. The base seems to be the heaviest!
Stick around...someone that's knows something will be along soon. It's really awesome and welcome to CW.
Ah cheers, yes my fingers are crossed!
Well.......it is probably French. Remove that gold colored bell shaped part on the movement back. Look there for a stamped mark of any sort. Throw the gold bell part away and do a Google image search for 'French clock bell'. That's what it should have there. Ebay is as good a source as any for a vintage French bell. It is best to remove the pendulum when moving the clock very far. If not it will break the little suspension spring the pendulum hangs on and you will be out shopping again. Unless it is already broken, but doesn't look like it is.
