    Hand woven basket 3 1/2 inches high & 2 1/2 inches across
    This hand made little basket is woven from some type of grass.
    I was told when I purchased this basket, many years ago, it was made by the
    Aleuts of Attu Island. The Remotest and most Isolated Possession of the U.S. I understand the island is now uninhabited but has a long and colorful history especially during World War II.
