We picked up this treasure at an antique shop in Syracuse. It just caught my eye. I think it may be a condiment/sweetmeat/ salt caddy. Eit may be silver plate or electoplate. It is very heavy. I believe the mark is Continental Sheffield Silver Plate Co. Brooklyn, N.Y.
It is 10 3/8 " long and 5 1/4" tall. It has 2 crystal inserts. With lid and 2 spoons. The spoons are not original to the caddy, I do believe. Spoons are marked McGlashan - Clarke CO also a sword with EPNS.I haven't been able to find anythinbg similar. Would like to find out how old it may be and if there is any value on it.
