Found while metal detecting on the beach. Marked 10K inside and has a circle M makers mark. Not sure if it's vintage or just modern made to look vintage. If anyone can ID the maker I'd appreciate it!

This ring looks to be the real deal to me, but it is difficult to say by only having photos to look at. A jeweler should be able to authenticate it for you by looking at the way the diamonds are set and also the cut of the diamonds.

Thanks Efesgirl! The diamonds test real (all of em except for the one little one missing close to the main setting) and the center ones are baguettes that taper on one side. The center piece is made of 3 alternating baguettes and the side pieces have 2 .

If you like all kinds of rings, here is a good link that shows all the gold/platinum/palladium rings that other metal detectorists have found this year:
      http://www.thetreasuredepot.com/daddy/rings/ringdaddy.html

click on person's picture and you can see their ring finds. This is #19 for me this year, one guy has 118+ now!

I used to have a metal detector, but never found anything like THAT. Thanks for the links. I am a jewelry junkie and now find my treasures at the flea markets, LOL!

Plenty of those around here too! One guy and his wife go and last weekend he pulled 60 grams of gold items out of a bunch of costume stuff!

Where you are you'd probably be finding VIKING jewelry with a metal detector!

I don't know where you are but if you have a Daniels Jewelers near you, you will more than likely find it there. Of course, that's just a guess. It may be a good guess. We'll see.

And that ring right there is why I want one of those. I bet it's a lot of fun!

Efesgirl, I have a flea-market budget & a metal detector. Hint, hint! No visa since we both live in Dutch territory!

I gave my metal detector to my brother. Would take it to VA Bch and Sandbridge....Found a quarter once...lol. Nice find!

Thanks melaniej! Pickings have been slim lately BUT I did manage to return a ring that had been lost for 63 years!

There is some good stuff out there. Just saw another Art-Deco looking one another local beach hunter found.

Recently took the ring to a local jewelers shop for a visual appraisal and cleaning. While there they pointed out that the whole main setting was broken on each side of ring. I let them fix it and had them replace the one missing stone. It looks GREAT now! There is one more diamond (center part, lowest baguette) that needs to be replaced as it had split along an inclusion. Apparently baguette cuts are a bit more expensive but we'll look at doing that later, can't really see it unless using a loupe. One of the people there said if the one stone was fixed it could retail for around $1900.00 USD! (not selling it though, wife has become "attached" to it for some reason!)
