These were made as cabinet or display wares and never intended for actual use.

The production of Bohemian glass dates back to the 13th century, and covers the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, now the Czech Republic. The history of Bohemian glass started with the abundant natural resources found in the countryside, enabling the use of some striking glass colours. During the second half of the 19th century, Bohemia looked to the export trade and mass-produced coloured glass for shipment all over the world.
