    Hi, The wig is sewed on the head, only the front of head (face) is hard but the back is soft. The doll`s head and body is covered with the same cloth material. Thanks.

      She is lovely but I would say a more contemporary Artist doll or made from a kit
      Not Antique . Maker unknown unless she was signed . I believe she was made by a non professional from pre painted stockinette face which is stretched over a mask face under it , and pattern for body and you would pick wig you liked from ones for sale in doll making class or kit . The link I am sharing has a price that is not realistic however . She makes a wonderful display doll
