Found what looks like an ashtray?? Was cleaning out the garage and it was tucked away in an old cabinet. Very detailed, brass, about 4" across. Appears to be a braided pony tail sticking up through the hat. Anyone ever see one like this?

Been informed is Bronze
Could be a ashtray but I think American made or European.
