Hi everyone, I found this nice little ring the other day. I didn't think the big stone was a diamond, but it was pretty so I took a chance. The band is sterling, and the setting is pretty decent, I think. The small chips on the band are real diamond chips....I tested them. The center stone, however, is not. Two questions: Does anyone know what kind of stone this is? It is off-whitish, and a little blue/green in some lights. Also, does anyone know the manufacturer of the ring? Is it Varsano?

Maybe zirconium?
Beautiful ring!!
Give that ring a good soaking in warm water with mild dish detergent. Use a very soft baby toothbrush to clean the stones, dry it with a soft cloth and then hold it in the light - you'll see much more in the way of color.
I suppose Rock crystal, but could also be white sapphire.
White Topaz ? I had a old ring with a white Topaz stone much like yours .
Thank you everyone for your opinions, so we are down to:
Rock Crystal
White Sapphire
White Topaz
Zirconium
Is there any way to find out which one it is? Process of elimination? Thanks!!!
