Moroline was petroleum jelly product similar to another much more better known brand. I am thinking this was early 1960s (could be much earlier I am just guessing) I don't think the company survived much longer than that. As you can see the price was 10 cents at this time. The company started in the early 1900s.
Please note the inside lid recommends the 25 cent jar which contains 2 1/2 times as much. Doing a bit of math it seems the cost is exactly the same per weight.
Does not seem to ever have been used, probably old store stock.
As can be seen I have it displayed with my Moroline glass.
fortapache, I gotta say that I've never heard of Moroline. I never knew there was ever another petroleum jelly other than Vaseline. That's pretty cool that this has survived all these years.
Thank you very much jscott. I had never heard of Moroline either. Somehow they stayed in business for over 50 years.
Thank you
