This ring was BENT big time...and filthy. I reshaped the shank and cleaned the inside of the ring. The amber is now the proper color! Does it fit? It does now. :-)
$5.00
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful ring!!! You have great taste in jewelry!
I love the ring! I love amber. How did you reshape the ring? I recently missed out on a gold ring because it was really bent and I thought it would be too much to have it done by a jeweler.
freiheit - I have a graduated scale ring sizer. I covered the end with my silver cleaning cloth and put the ring on the sizer, while gently twisting and pushing the ring downward. I pulled on the cloth to remove the ring, turned it over and repeated until I was satisfied that I had the right shape. I took another ring to the jeweler for reshaping and it didn't cost me a penny.
Thanks so much for your answer. I will try that next time! I have not yet found a jeweler yet who would do this for me. Lucky you:)
freheit - welcome! You can add pressure as needed to round out the ring. I needed a bit of "oomph" to round out this ring. Half of the shank was smooshed....ugh.
It's a beautiful ring, I can't see where you repaired it, nice work. :)
