SharpShoot…
(1 item)
This is a Callophone Co. phone of some sort... I think it may have been a PA system due to the big speaker... It clearly is some sort of portable talking instrument that is battery operated. I can't find anything like it on the internet or elsewhere. The only Callophones I have seen are hifi record players from around 1920's. This phone has a patient date written around the speaking piece with the dates of Mar 19, 1907 and Apr 14, 1908. The Case that has a plug installed into the side of it. It also has a long cord inside on a wheel that plugs into a battery box of some sort. The phone itself plugs into the system and has accessories.
It has a stamped tag with a Type No. of what appears to be C4311 and a Serial No. of 3.
Any additional information anyone may have is appreciated.
Looking for any information about this wonderful contraption. I bought this at a garage sale in upstate Michigan.
