This Rindskopf vase stands 8.5" tall, and is a deep teal-green glass cased in clear (best seen in image 2) with a VERY iridescent surface. It has some nice gilt enamel work with some white enamel accents; Rindskopf pieces with enamel work like this are more unusual to find than undecorated pieces.
The iridescence on this vase graduates in bands of color down the vase - golden yellow, deep purple, teal, blue-purple, raspberry, then to a golden color again; I have one other Rindskopf vase (a deep purple) with this similar banded iridescence.
This is a total delight.....the shape, the colour, the enamelling...... oh my!
sklo, thanks so much! I am so glad you like it. I have to say that whenever my husband sees this one, he stops and says 'whoa!' (in a good way!) - he loves it, too. :)
Nice Michelle. Well done on finding this one.
Mac, thank you! :)
wonderful exquisite
You've captured my favorites in one vase! I'm envious! But very happy for you. Love it!
Thank you, kivatinitz!
Thanks so much, smiata - I am glad you like it! :)
The iridescence is wonderful Michelle!! Another lovely piece to add to your already extensive Rindskopf collection!
Rick, thanks so much for your comment. It is one of the most iridescent pieces I own! :)
