I've got this beautiful 1860s Bear hide Officers Coat issued during the American/Indian wars waiting with a nice pair of Coyote Mittens for the promised winter storms that are soon to arrive in Utah. It's proudly displayed in the front entry vestibule to our mountain home in Sundance Utah. I recently learned from a son, who is now grown and married with children, that he couldn't resist and took this invaluable collectors piece off the wall and wore it skiing with his younger brother several years ago!!!! Scary what you learn from your kids sometimes!!!
He went water skiing wearing a bear skin coat! LOL! A bitter 1 here last year. Dropped down to 72F! Brrrrr!

You're nuts! Not sure exactly what to do with you? You're probably safe for the rest of this year from Hurricanes so that won't resolve anything in attitude adjustment. Hmmmm?

Yes on the logs. I built this cabin in 94 from 12" logs that came from the infamous Yellowstone fire. I left the burn scars in them as a reminder of how stupid our Dept of Interior is to let the fire burn the entire National Park because "fires are natural"!
I was just back at the Park 2 wks ago & still no Bears anymore. Very very sad! We loved seeing the Bears in the olden days.
