This clock has been in the family for well over sixty years but I do not know where it came from or anything about it.
It is 11 1/2 inches tall 8 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. I can not find any name or manufactures identification. There is a small paper label inside titled Finish Approved with the following items initialed 1234G by; S.P. by; 1234E by; pmd by; Finished by; and Approved by;
There is a key to wind it up and a small pendulum inside that is not visible.
unless the back is removed.
I would appreciate any information that anybody could provide.
Thanks
Hello Vlad. You have a Kroeber model called they called the "Turenne" from circa 1895. 8-day gong strike. Height 12 inches. It came finished in black, white, pink, blue, red, green and brown. See: http://www.clockguy.com/SiteRelated/SiteReferencePages/KroeberHistory.html for info on the history of the F. Kroeber Clock Co. Hope that solves your mystery. If so, please indication "Mystery Solved" in your listing. Thanks for sharing your family Heirloom.
Thank you very much for the information. Years ago my Dad tried to get some information but unfortunately he did not have the benefit of the internet. Your help is really appreciated.
