These earrings have had me curious for a long time. I've never really known what kind of stone they are, I thought maybe moonstone? I know they're either stone or glass. They are on sterling screwbacks and I'm pretty sure they're quite old. Any help would be appreciated.

They aren't real 'cold' to the touch, maybe just for a moment. They do not stay cold.
