    I think this is really beautiful and it definitely has some age to it. maybe 1920s? what do you think? what is this kind of raised decoration called?

      thanks lisa! i think that the imperfections show more in the photo than in reality. does anyone know what it's called when clay is carved away - leaving a relief? this is obviously a mold made piece imitating that method.
