Bohemian (?),that's all what I can say about it.The rest is a mystery.I couldn't find anything similar to this vase.Perhaps I didn't plug away at it.
What I noticed: it's very carefully made with attention to details, motifs come from the art deco era ,colours are like those including Krasno vases. No signatures.
On the other hand if there isn't any marks maybe this is a Chinese production.
Just questions and no answers.Perhaps there will be somebody who will be able to give some clues. Thanks for looking!
Thanks Pegy for the love :-)
beautiful red and art work on the vase!!
Thanks SEAN,I also think it's of a good quality
Thanks nutsabotas for the love
It does resemble Bohemian glass. Have you looked closely at the cranberry color to see if it is actually ingrained into the glass or just on the surface?
Hi,efesgirl, thanks for stopping by.I examined the vase very carefully and all its inner surface is very smooth, without any concaves so the outer layer is just on the surface. The seller even say that the vase is painted! Also it's relatively thin and light - it weighs 540 g being 31 cm tall.
Beautiful vase Ivonne. It can be hard to ID these! No matter, it's wonderful!
Thank you smiata,mikelv,vetraio,Efesgirl,blunderbuss,KeriJ,petey,ho2cultcha and racer for the loves :-)
Karen, thanks!I also think it might be impossible.
I don't think the Chinese could produce something so nice and light. I think Bohemian but that's about as far as I can go.
Thank you Ian for the comment. It's so supporting .
