When I found these two lanterns a long time ago, they had no hooks or any other type of attachement. Since there are two of them, I figured they would make great earrings so I attached simple silver hooks to them. They tested silver, the green inside is a glass pearl.
No idea what they were originally, or when they were made. Maybe thirties or forties?
I posted these because of the lantern brooches of Efesgirl, they are a bit similar, dont you think?
Hope you like them! I wear them often, as green is my color ;-)

Love these! Before I saw this post I was thinking it would be great to have som earrings with lights in them for xmas. Like LED lights. I So love this idea and you have come closer to it!!
