Welz? Covered Candy Dish

Antiquing in small towns in Iowa yields very little, but in the last store (which calling it an antique store is extremely generous) was this little gem. It stands about 7 inches to the top of the knob. Best of all I couldn't find a single nibble to the rims. I thought it unusual since the lid fits inside the base. I have since found pictures of other examples, but I had never noticed that before. It made me think it might be a marriage, but don't think that could be possible since the colors and stripes match so closely. Second best part of the find was that it was pretty cheap and had 20% off!
