Could anyone tell me what kind of keys these are, what they were used for and possibly the date of them. I found them in a box of my mothers old things. I'm thinking they might have been her father's keys but not sure. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time
the first one on the left from the top one looks like the one that fits my large bookcase.

The two at the top of the picture are likely to be furniture keys because they have holes in the end to fit over a guide pin in the lock. These are usually called barrel keys. The others are bit keys and likely fit door locks. Yours are specifically called corrugated bit keys because of the shapes of the bits. The shape of the key bitting had to match the shape of the keyhole. I have no way of knowing what the keys might have gone to, but here is a key catalog you can download:

It is from a German key manufacturer called Börkey. Your keys may or may not have been made by them. In the catalog there is a section on corrugated bit keys.
