This small Welz piece is ribbed, stands on five leaf shaped feet and, presumably, is for tiny flowers......unless you know better, of course. I found it in a local vintage/antiqe mall and I'm happy that it's in a décor that I have already. The other pieces, in the same décor, are also ribbed.

This is rather nice! You couldn't imagine these shapes being made now, could you?
Thankyou, Ian, you certainly couldn't. Like the tiny vase you posted they were probably aimed at a specific market far from the type of bouquets bought today.
LOVE that shape!
Here is mine in a different decor:

Thank you so much scott. If anything I like your décor better!
I don't know... the last photo with the group of three with the same decor looks pretty good!

Ah, strength in numbers!
OF COURSE-- the groupings always put the individual pieces to shame!
Have a great day!

Peggy, totally agree with Scott-5, the third pic was really nice, great addition to your growing Welz collections.

.........................................................................Speechless ........... WOW
What a nice trio!
Lovely grouping!! Love the latest one's shape!
I love groupings of the same décor, especially when they also all exhibit a common detail like ribbing.
stunning!!
I too love the shape Peggy! The handle is just icing on the cake... makes it easy for you to carry it around the house! ;-)
Alan, Thank you for a lovely comment!
Karen, Welz is certainly colourful and thank you :-)
Antiquerose, speechless or not, many thanks!
Ivonne, many thanks too.....trios always look good!
Lesley, thanks, I always appreciate your view!
Thank you Craig. I was amazed to find this new one less than a kilometre from home!
SEAN, thanks, love your comment!
Rick, lol that's if you had small enough hands for your fingers to fit !!
Sklo, wouldn't this be just beautiful filled with a small posey of violets, or a few delicate fern fronds, or other small flowers favored during the era it was made? I just love how intricate and delicate it is - so lovely!
There's a nice idea, Michelle. As you know the Lake District you'll know that our climate favours ferns!! Also the ferns will pick up the green in the décor :-)
Beautiful grouping!! :)
Thank you, Katherine, for your fine compliment :-)
