    Hi
This beautiful vase resides in Australia but I have no information on it's Maker, country of origin etc..It's driving me Mad! Is so light, delicate and fragile! When I first saw and held it, I was reminded of a large Christmas decoration ball -ball. I was told by an antique dealer, from pics, that it looked to be Imperial from the USA but...???? Can anyone Please Please Help? it is actually my friend's but I would love to find a similar or same for my own glass collection
    Cheers!

      Hi Decoretro. Welcome to CW.
I am in OZ too and this vase really reminds me of a contemporary vase I used to own made in Hungary. Mine was not quite so iridescent but was also bauble shaped and fine. Perhaps it's somewhere to start?

Thanks so much racer4four :) You know, I have had this feeling it is European..Czech etc. The man that originally owned it traveled and I'm pretty sure he would have picked up somewhere in Europe rather than the USA. How did you come by yours and what happened to it? Hungary..hmm..will f/u..Thanks again!!!
      Cheers!!

Mine was a gift from a friend and to be honest I have no idea where he got it.
It was one of my (thankfully rare) oops pieces, and is sadly now somewhere in lots of pieces.
I don't know who made it in Hungary, it just had a Made in Hungary etch on the base.
