Went to the car boot sale at the weekend for a rummage around and found this racoon print on an old couples stall, and fell in love with him instantly. It was framed with no writing at all, and it cost me the grand sum of £2.
I took it home and was interested in who the artist was as it is very well executed. So I cut the backing tape and took it out of the frame and found the writing at the bottom which had been hidden behind the mount. I then noticed some cracking around the eyes under the lights, and upon closer inspection, and to my amazement, realised that it is an original!
I like him even better now!
Looks like it is signed " David Andrews "
~ Is this him here ??

Thanks Rose. Yes, I was really happy when I took it out of the mount and found the name. He's not the most popular artist but his paintings and studies of wildlife are very accomplished. His website is below. He will go very well next to the other lot!

What a great piece of art. Nice find!!
Thanks Scott. A little artistic licence taken as he's a little short and dumpy for a Racoon, but I can live with that!
