You appear to have a lovely example of a Chiltern Hugmee bear from the late 50s or early 60s. Chiltern (Great Britain) manufactured these bears over a long period, but you can tell the later bears by their flatter faces. The black threads on the paws are the giveaway on these bears. These "claw" stitches were oversewn from the mohair directly on to the paws. I am including a link to the Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood (http://www.vam.ac.uk/moc/collections/teddy_bears/british/chiltern_bear/index.html) where you can view an even more recent example of a Chiltern Hugmee.
