    This belonged to my wife's grandfather, don't have a lot of info about or know if it is worth restoring.

      in my opinion with that original paint dont restore it

      With that original Shell decal on it,I wouldn't even consider restoring it,it looks great.

      I agree, most I would do is wash and wax it to preserve the original finish. And store it out of the elements. Our local General Store has one of these pumps still in place. It was use to dispense lamp oil. It is bolted to the floor and has a pipe that goes to a tank in the basement. I am sure these were used to dispense gas also.

      it looks like it is a Bowser pump. Look at " yellowharley" post on this site for his 1903 Bowser salemans sample pump. It will tell you every thing.
