Would anyone know the age of these keys and what they may have been used for. Found at my 91 year old mothers house. Engraved on one key Stamford Yale & towne conn USA. On back the number 18.
    Thanks.

Those type keys were used in very cheap padlocks or any inexpensive lock that was more to keep out the casually curious than provide actual security; such as small sheet-metal "document boxes".

Thank you Uncle Ron for your insight and knowledge. Will be looking for that document box now! ????
