Was just digging in a box here and found these that I had bought years ago. Never did do any research on them, so I thought I would post them here. They are SWEET Vintage Bird Egg Cups. They are stamped on the bottom with '' MADE IN JAPAN " . Would these be considered Majolica? As I would think they would be. I am thinking maybe from the 1950's or so. See what I can find. If you have any info, it will be welcomed also.

Royal Art Pottery ( England ) made things like this - but these are clearly not marked with their logo on the bottom .....
They look like similar to what people were getting as gifts in the early 50's for such things as even weddings. I have seen some similar in those cabinets of a 53 wedding.

@ RICK55 -- You got that right. Cute little buggers. I do not think they even sell figurative Egg cups anymore -- Do they? At one time ( even when I was a Kid ) having a couple Boiled eggs before School in a cup like this was the Normal. Do not know *IF* kids these days know how to make boiled eggs....LOL.
Oh these are absolutely adorable, Rose, I'd love to have some like these! Great shape, great color, great glaze. Darling! :)
