    Hand cut vase from Hoya Crystal Japan. I think this lens shaped vase is pretty special.

    I was surprised when I got this vase at it's apparent age.
    I had thought it late 1970s but it's bespoke box leans me to the 60s and the sticker supports that.

      Thanks everyone. As you can see the cutting in this vase is excellent (Hoya would do no less) and ice crystal like. I'm glad you all appreciate it!

      Anne - I bought this from Japan (only one I have seen there for sale) and TBH have not seen them here. I will keep my eye out for you!

      thanks. Yes I had a look and couldnt find it at all. Beautiful shape and the cut just gorgeous....worth a bit too by the looks of their other glass but it's so well made...

      OMG, this is a magnificent vase, Karen!!! When I saw the thumbnail, I was struck by the beauty of the work, and seeing it altogether, well, it's just amazing. :)
