I was pawing through a bunch of junk jewelry and found these - I think they are just gorgeous. The gold gilding doesn't show up in the photos I took outside, but the entire surface of the silver is gilded. Great workmanship. These earrings are about 1/2 " long. Not sure what the green stone is yet. Cold to the touch, so definitely stones.
There is a teeny tiny .835 stamp and another what looks to be handwritten mark that says "SILVER". The second mark is buried beneath the hinge for the clasp. I nearly didn't see it. I cleaned them up, put them on and love them. Very comfortable.
Thanks for looking!
Splendid, Bonnie, especially in the outdoor setting! You and your bargains! ;)
LOL thanks katherine! You should come and visit sometime... I'll take you to all the local thrift shops during the week and the flea markets on Sunday! :-) Bring an empty suitcase, just in case of.... hee hee....
If I had wings, Bonnie! :)
Another nice bargain Efe!
The work is very well done, the filigree back makes think to chinese export pieces, and green stones are some sort of jade :-)
Comfortable ear clips are rarities !!! Enjoy them :-)
Agree with Kyra: they do look like chinese export. Lovely!
You come up with such fantastic jewelry for so little money Bonnie! I wanna go shopping with you!! LOL!
Gee, I will have to get some sleeping bags for all of you who want to come here and shop with me, LOL! I try to pay as little as I can get away with - usually, the asking price is 50 cents or a buck for something. People just toss things into a plastic bucket and don't always pay attention to what it is they are tossing - yay! hahaha
Thanks for all the love/comments, everyone!
val - I think the stones are jade. The photo doesn't do them justice.
