I bought this beautiful Hand painted Asian dresser last week & the women didn't have much info on it, just that it was her great, great grandma's. There are no markers marks anywhere. The drawers are numbers & have a very unusual bolt/nut attaching the handles. I was told the furniture style was French Provincial.

If anyone has any information, Please let me know ?
    Thanks so much!

It is probably later 50's to 1960's when french provincial like this was in style. It definitely does not seem older. I have see whole sets sell and is called chinoiserie decoration.

I wondered about the 'age' because of the French provincial style. Someone put a lot of time into painting it.....

      Thanks for your help :)

There was a good set of it here on this site, but now it has been a while so it is hard to find. The age is not that important I feel on these sets. I have a book on french provincial furniture by Baker furniture so the pieces are pretty 1960's since that is when it appears the book may have been made, but I am not sure if they made chinoiserie decorated pieces. Will have to look into that.
