Carved Wooden Antique Carousel Horse. Dimensions: Front to Rear Hoofs - 39 1/2" x Floor to Top of Ears = 28".
Tail is real Horse Hair
Teeth are real of some sort - not represented to be horse but who knows?
Rein is Leather.
Hoofs are a Bone Type Material
Eyes are Glass.
Sturrup fasteners on both side are Metal.
Holes for Pole and interior support hole is as was original when built.
Illustrated Carved Wooden Carousel Horse is in Excellent Condition.

Is it possible this small antique carousel horse is European for a small kiddie carousel?

Whatever you may be able to assist me to identify this beautiful wooden careved carousel horse will be greatly appreciated. It was purchased from the estate of a 90+ year old Lady who passed away this past week who purchased antique carousel horses and rounding boards from various countries during her many years of collecting carousel items. One lot of carousel horses were purchased from within France many years ago. Several coursel horses from her collection have been designated are said to have been donated and shipped to a museum.
