    Found in grandfathers old tool box. Steel handle and flat blade with a brass accent. If anyone knows Please anwser. Thanks Blade is smooth on both sides, and approx. 16" long.

      Did you happen to also find a leather sleeve that fit this very tightly? Not a sheath just a sleeve, snug fitting and possible more smooth on one side than the other.

      Yup - perhaps the leather case is missing? Also, a leather cord to hold on to should be there?
