Found this cute little guy to add to my paperweight collection at Salvation this morning. Seems the rose color is one of the more desirable judging from the values of the other colors. They came in many colors, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Green, Rose and Crystal also Milk glass and iridescent finishes. There is a small oval mark on the back which is not very clear. The "F" and part of the "n" is all that came out in the mark. I think these were part of a birthday collection dating around 1995. -Mike-
I like that color - much nicer than clear.
Thank you Efesgirl.....all the colors are nice but there's an iridescent one that's really eye catching. That one reminds me of Loetz and Kralik finishes.
I often see these Fenton animals for sale online and love them, but I DON'T need another collection. He's adorable Mike.
Thanks Karen... I understand that feeling. I had to juggle things around on the shelf just to find space for this little guy. I had to come home with something today. Pickings have been pretty slim lately. My friend found a beautiful little sapphire and diamond ring while sorting jewelry the other day. It's a gold plated .925 silver band but the stones are real . I think that's kind of odd but our jeweler friend had a look at it and confirmed it. I've never seen her find anything that she didn't sell (to me...lol) but she's keeping that. I was very happy for her and all she paid was four dollars.
